Doesn't take long to see that there's nothing to see.
The cars are nice, and the world is actually pretty detailed and interesting. It's too bad that the graphics are sub-par, and therefor nullify the beauty of the detail. On my computer there was a resolution issue with the game, so I in particular had a bad view of it. The fact that you have to navigate through a map to find races and etc. basically make the open world a cumbersome lobby. It would have been nice to have character customization instead of each player having the same blank character sitting there. His arms don't move while you steer, a very disheartening sight that tells you the game was more of a chore for the creators than a project.
At the end of the day, there was nothing to draw me into the game. It has basically been done (better) already by Drift City. If NFS: World were good then it could compete as an alternative to that game, but in its current form you may as well play the that one. The quality of the game would have been acceptable a few years ago, but right now it is not impressive, especially from a company and a franchise with so much history.
Too bad..
