Not good, not bad.

User Rating: 6.7 | Neopets: The Darkest Faerie PS2
Gameplay:

Hard combat controls. You have to time your attacks, which can be very hard in a difficult situation, to succesfully make a good attack. The menu navigation is pretty cool, and easy to understand. The controls are straight foward, your basic jump, pick up, etc. controls. Buying things is pretty easy to. The item is already on the shop counter, so you just go up to it, and if you have enough neopoints (money), you click square and you get it. The gameplay and controls are stright foward, while the combat system is really bad. There is also a not very large variety of items and weapons.

Graphics:

All I could say about the graphics is that the environments look like old Playstation 1 games, while the characters, items, etc look like PS2. The effects that the motes on your weapons and armour and shield are cool (they make them glow and looks like there shooting out sparkles). The best graphics would have to be during the cut-scenes, and even then the grpahics are average.

Sound:

Your basic swings of a sword, cast of a wand, and uh and oh of getting hit and htting people. The voice acting is average.

Overall: I recommend this more to younger people. I also like the fact that it is Neopets, because I am Neopets fan.
