i was scouting for a decent rpg one day and came across this masterpiece
i was blown away

first off the game doesnt have great graphiks, even atari had better pixels, but this doesnt take away any value from the games fun, to start it off you choose from 13 classes, 5 races, gender, and 3 alignments, there may be more but thats what im guessing, that alone right there has tons and tons replayability.

second off, all 40 floors of the dungeon are random, just about every time you go in, some floors are the same, but thats if you play a lot and i mean alot, sometimes youll run into your previous fallen characters and there ghost will be there along with a their stuff that is now cursed, which is cool.

third on, there is almost nothing you cant do in this game, mattock into a gold vault becoming really rich, carve your name or profane things on the ground, alters, tombstones and so on, have your dog steal from a shopkeeper, kick a door into splinters and pillage away, eat corpses, or hallucinate on a certain type of slime and kill a ninja turtle(probally a goblin but you are tripping out), i could go on and on but you get the point.

this game is challenging and you will die probally alot, my wizard died from system shock, my knight died falling off a horse only because he was trying to get on, i died because i kicked a wall soo hard, my cleric was raped and killed by a succubus, i got mobbed on by 8 statues come to life when i desacrated an alter, and my god struck me down with lightning killing me instantly. just to name a few ways i died.

lastly, after rammbling on, one thing i did not like was when you get a scroll that lets you genocide, it wont let you eliminate the human race.
