Definitley an incredibly underrated RPG. A ton of fun!

Difficult to follow NWN 1, which was brilliant, Bioware once again gave the task to Obsidian. Yes, it's not without a few technical problems, not to mention some of the most frustrating AI i've ever played with (When your compadres don't bother backing you up in battle, wandering off etc), but NWN2 is a long, immersive and enjoyable RPG

The opening to the game kicks off nicely, a better tutorial than the first one actually, with you and your friends messing about at a harvest fair. You're then catapaulted into a fantasy adventure which, while slightly derivative, is exciting. From dwarves, to demons and magicians to traps (now common with D&D games), every fantasy setting has been squeezed into the game.

Graphically, the game stands up nicely, with some visual tearing and frame rate issues, but incredibly rarely. The dialogue system is excellent, reminiscent of KOTOR, the combat satisfying and the music, while recycled from NWN on occasion, is inspiring.

Sure, it's no BG2 or KOTOR but if you're looking to invest 50+ hours in a classic fantasy game, you can't go wrong with a FULLY PATCHED (Absolutely vital) version of NWN2.
