I kinda raved around New Super Mario Bros. Wii when it came out...I'm doing the same with New Super Mario Bros. U! Smashing and crunching and making a great game to even a better game for Nintendo's first go around in HD, still makes it one of the best pilot titles if not the best for the system. There aresome slight changes since NSMBW, with the flying squirrel and P-Flying Squirrel suit, the return of some enemies from the past (where's my Reznor??) new changes, but that's not a bad thing, the main thing being that it is in HD, but as we all know that Nintendo's song and dance is STILL the old song and dance, the Mario series has that "cute charm" that makes Nintendo, well Nintendo. We are seeing Nintendo going into "Hardcore M-Rated gaming bit, but publishing Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge (it would be something if they did a Ninja Gaiden 2 Razor's Edge) Bayonetta 2, hopefully, they bring back the scrapped Project H.A.M.M.E.R. but it's the child-like "Disney" charm of Nintendo that makes it what it is. the gameplay is wonderful and everything about the new installment of NSMB is all wonderful and sweet that it will give you cavities...painful cavities to the competition. New Super Mario Bros U is what Mario fans need to keep them at bay until a new open world Mario game (maybe New Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario Universe) but jump in give a whirl and bring back some old-school gaming and keep yourself there until the new Zelda or Donkey Kong or Metroid comes out...but get this game if you have the time and the system!
Last year has been a significant one for the New Super Mario Bros series, since Nintendo had released two games of it in that year. That isn't to be said it was a very good one. The earlier one, New Super Mario Bros 2, r... Read Full Review
