You'll "Jump for Joy" as Nintendo Power puts it.
As always your quest is to save princess peach from the clutches of Bowser but this time the Koopalings are in your way. Jumping on their heads three times is the only way to finish them off.
Boss fights are fun but really easy. Throughout the game you'll run into Bowser Jr. on his flying ship. Each time the fights are only slightly different. Unfortunately the final castle with Bowser is too short to be satisfying.
Some new additions to the game were cool like the yoshis, (you can only use them on certain levels) power ups like the propeller suit, penguin suit, and ice flower. Another good addition to the game is once you beat the game you unlock world 9. To play levels from world 9 must collect all the coin stars from different worlds. Every time to collect the coin stars for one world you unlock a level from world 9.
Multiplayer is pretty fun but nothing special. Player 1 is Mario while the other players chose between Luigi, and two random toads that are blue and yellow. An interesting multiplayer feature is if a player is having trouble on a part they can press A to go in a bubble. To leave the bubble another player must pop it.
Overall it's a great game that none should resist getting... including you! So play it now and squish some Goombas.
