marios return to home console side scrolling platforming is a near classic return

way back in 2006 nintendo brought out new super mario bros a return to side scrolling it was but it was far to easy but then in e3 2009 nintendo revealed new super mario wii i thought was it a port or a new game it was a new game but this time you bring you friends along the multi player is great but the 4 charaters mario,luigi and 2 toads (come on nintendo ) also the inclusion of yoshi was great but he was hardly in it at all one thing i would have like nintendo to have done was online multiplayer if it had that we would have had a classic in our hands
while its still a classic its just a dissapiontment that nintendo played it so safe
it feels like nintendo just tried to get it out before christmas just to make some more money i know im sounding mean but if they went to town with this it would have been a masterpiece.

story 8 for a mario game its ok its peaches birthday so they celebrate the a huge cake gets wheeled in and out pops bowser jr and the koopa kids and kidnaps peach so there mario and co travels to save her

graphics 8.5 graphically simillar to the ds but with a better background and better sprites

sound and music8 the sounds are great and the music is simmuler to the ds version one thing i would have like is a music libery with classic tunes you can play in the levels

gameplay 9 simple and sweet run from start to finish avoiding obsticles very affective but the waggle thing is being used to death

overal 8.5 its a fun and lenghty experience the levels are more harder then the ds version the multiplayer is fun and enjoyable but lack of online is unforgiving
and more charaters it just plays it safe get it and you wont be dissaponted if you dont mind it hasnt got online
