Nexuiz. Ah, Nexuiz. If you love first-person shooters (FPS), then you should really consider downloading Nexuiz. The greatest thing about this game is that it's free. It's so good, in fact, that it compares right next to UT 2004 and Quake 3, in my book. The only place that the game fails in is very minor—just the fact that you don't get spawn invincibility after you respawn. It's not a major issue, but it is when you're playing modes like Rocket Arena or Last Man Standing, where you get all the weapons. But, Nexuiz's graphics are crisp and fast-moving. The graphics, too, just barely manage to compete with Quake 3's graphics. The sound is pretty good, but the high-pitched "bleep" when you die does get annoying after a while. But the sound shots sound great, and so is the AI. In the later Campaign levels, the AI gets so difficult that you practically have to cheat to beat them. If you don't like the AI, then play online—Nexuiz manages smooth gameplay even in the most hectic of servers.
In short, if you're looking for something to get, Nexuiz should be your first choice. It's a great game with many weapons, perfect balance, challenging AI, many player models and options, and smooth multiplayer.
