Great Football Game with some technical flaws
The game itself is solid, doing a great job of the basics of football, and includes all the necessary modes (I found training to be particularly useful as I was new to football games). Each game I have played seems to have the right outcome based on the matched teams and the difficulty level (I have a much harder time defending when moving up from rookie). The graphics were the best available at the time this was released.
On the negative side, the announcing, while accurate, seems a bit odd (as if each word was recorded seperately) and reminds me somewhat of early PC voice simulators. I have run across an occasional "no one's gonna catch him - that's going for six" as I am getting tackled. My biggest compleint though, is the limit of five minute quarters in dynasty mode. Not sure what that was all about - seems like an oversight by the developer.
Overall, a fun game, especially for a novice. I expect to complete my first dynasty year soon and move on to many more.
