Its a damn good idea. After playing the game u really get to understand how coaches get stressed so easily, and the game does teach u alot about the inner workings of a NFL franchise. But u seriously need PATIENCE to play this game. Took me about 9hrs to actually get to my first pre-season game. Going through all the meetings...re-signing players you want back, salary capping, franchise tagging any player, looking at free agents, selecting players for the draft, going through practices developing your players...etc. Its ALOT! But to be honest when game day comes u really wanna PLAY on the field rather then just coach from the sidelines especially with Vince Young, Jay Cutler, Reggie Bush, AJ Hawk, etc in the game. Its basically playing madden on coach mode. Suggest the game as a rental, not a purchase.
