A great start to a some-what medicore franchise.
User Rating: 7.5 | NFL Street PS2
NFL Street is a awesome start to EA Big's most n00b friendly street franchise. Basically, you take seven guys, and score touchdowns and trash-talk like it was wrestling or something like that. Right from the start, you only got the 32 (I am right, right?) NFL teams, but the rest can be unlocked in NFL Challenge. The playing fields are great, with a junkyard and a courtyard in Houston. The sound or it all, however, kinda feels flat. Yeah sure, you Korn and Nas together (FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!) , but that also feels flat. The in game music though, feels like some mash-up between techno and rap. Weird? I think so. Now, NFL Challenge is basically, you take seven guys, and upgrade there skills and put on some cool clothes, and play against all of the NFL teams in there respecive divisions. Pick-up game, on the other hand, is great cuase you get to pick from 40 NFL players and then, pick your arena and play! All in all, NFL Street is a great diversion for when you are not playing Madden, but with a boring single-player experince, you may be left wanting more.
