NHL 06 continues EA Sports's lineup of well produced hockey games. I have been a fan of EA hockey over Sega hockey for a long time, but there is reason behind it. While NHL 06 was not spectacular, it was solid. You can always expect a solid hockey game from EA. What is dissapointing sometimes though, is the lack of change in the game from year to year which makes me think sometimes of switching over to Sega. However if you do not buy an NHL game every year, I think you will think rather highly of NHL 06. It is a good game with good graphics and gameplay. Every year EA is coming closer to getting the realisticness of their hockey game pat down, and this year is no exception. Although still not perfect, it was a good game, and EA is well on their way to making a spectacular game in the upcoming year(s). My advice to you is if you are just starting to think about buying it now, perhaps wait for NHL 07 instead. So far, EA looks like they are developing a gem with NHL 07, and making some changes, for the better,
