The Rush is Back, then so be it.
With the many options of tournaments and franchise games, it makes it possible to have this game for a long time and that is why I am going to keep on playing it. NHL games could keep on developing with accuracy of players but this time, the sound is great and a thrill, especially with my favourite team Russia when the crowd are chanting me and urging me to get forward and bombard the net of the opposition.
"Rus-si-a" the crowd chant, I urge an all out attack to get myself back into the game. No more is the game of pure speed but also tactical, you bring your defenders forward to help support the attack, your Right and Left Wing push to the sides and fire the puck in repeatably. Even though the German goaltender save shot after shot but they eventually gave in. I scored three goals in the space of a minute. Why? Because the game gave me a chance to look at the whole picture, see weaknesses in the defence, attack those defences and make the goaltender crumble. I felt it, I felt that I could pressure the goaltender, fool him and expose the two defensemen as they fall back everytime I had the puck.
This game may not be your usual football but its entertaining, its pure fun, you get hit down and nailed by the opposing player, you get up and want to hit back, join the fun and play hockey, the crowd, the officials, the coaches and yes, even the goaltenders join the fun. Forget the highlight reels, forget the unrealistic power, just feel the intensity, feel the atmosphere and power in goals, thats what I enjoy doing.
