A great game made even better because of it's portability.

The PSP version of NHL 07 is hands down the best portable hockey game available. Not only does the game look great, but it also plays great. If you are familiar with the EA series of hockey games you shouldn't have any problem picking this game up and being able to play right away. I do find that sometimes my defencemen will wander away from the front of the net, leaving an opposing player wide open in the slot, which usually results in a goal.

The one major complaint from me is that you can't view players stats during the game. It's doesn't take anything away from the game play, but for someone like me who likes viewing the statistics it does take a little away from the overall enjoyment of the game, but other then that this game is top notch.

The load times are a bit long (30-40 seconds) before the game starts but once the game is underway it plays without any slowdown.

The couple of times that I have played an online match have been really smooth with very little lag. Being able to search for players online by skill level is a neat function to have and prevents you from getting into a game with someone who is an expert when you are just starting out.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who has a PSP and is looking for a good hockey game. I play during my commute to and from work everyday and I can get in a game from my dynasty on the short subway ride (30 minutes) into work.
