NHL 07 for ps2 seems like an extension on to NHL 06 with the same graphics and announcers. But when you really get into this game it seems to be more entertaining the the other NHL games. The gameplay is very smooth and with the new passing system using the analog stick it makes the game seem more realistic. NHL 07 still has all the same features including a new shootout mini game which can simply be used as a way to practice your breakaway skills. Online play is still pretty much the same, but just as good. I do prefer this game over 2k7, but i have always preferred this series better. But, if your a hockey fan then i do recommend buying this game or renting it at the least.
