I was a little disappointed when I played this game. There isn't really anything new except the controls and updated rosters, and some of the rosters aren't even correct. Goalies still have issues, as some of the best goalies will let in cheap goals on very few shots. The game is still somewhat of a hitfest, but not as much as it was in the past, and it's still to easy to score on a one-timer. The music isn't so great either. The only song I really like is "Rise From the Ashes" by Quietdrive. It's also way too easy. I went undefeated on hard with the Blue Jackets of all teams. But don't get me wrong. NHL 07 is still a very good game. Passing and deking with the analogs sticks is a nice addition and makes the game a little more challenging. The gameplay is smooth and fast. NHL 07 hasn't really changed much, but it is still a very good game. And at only $30, it's worth adding to your collection.
