EA builds on what they started in NHL 07 with the skill stick and improves on every thing else in NHL 08. In NHL 07 I use to play on the hardest setting and still beat the comp by atleast 4 goals now i play on normal and have troubles beating the computer. The new AI makes it impossible to do the same play over and over again as they pick up on what you do consistantly and position themselves to stop your play from happening. They are a lot of new modes in this game, they finally put in a practice mode which lets you work on your power play, rushes, goalie control, shooting accuracy, you name it they probably have it. Theres a mode now that if you want to be the goalie the camera is set behind your net and only shows you what the goalie sees. I recommend picking this game up, best hockey game out.
