An update to NHL '11. Not much has changed from the previous year's edition besides the addition of goalie fights, goalie contact and a couple other stuff. The hitting has been updated but not the greatest. Computer AI isn't the greatest at all, especially on the higher levels. The computer players on your team don't play to the level they should be, watching pucks slowly pass them or leaving or skating away from pucks. Also I don't know why they can't have direct passing in the game like they do in NBA Live. You should be able to directly select who you'd like to pass to or select defensively, especially defensively as it's annoying trying to select the closest person to the puck but getting the person furthest away!! Small things that can easily be changed. But overall, a decent game but besides the roster update, if you have nhl '11, I would wait until '13. The game also freezes constantly which is annoying!
