NHL 18

I agree with the first comment, I like the new additions to the game (dekes, defensive stick movement etc.), I'm not really into the franchise stuff so I can't comment on that. However, the gameplay is terrible! The puck spends just as much time bouncing around sticks and skates as it does on a players blade, it's extremely sloppy hockey. The passes are brutal at times, goalies aren't good, players skate over the puck way to much, dekes barely work on players(and are a bit messed up trying to do them), I've perfected the new dekes for goalies which are cool and work well but its way harder to deke a defenceman now, poke check is great sometimes and just ridiculous other times (the hold off button only works half of the time now because the stick goes through you). Players glitch at times spinning and moving 10 feet at a time picking up the puck, they constantly fan on quick release shots if their on the move like the previous game, takes way to long to turn and move with or without the puck...The list goes on for me. But the worst thing is the momentum swing crap, if you get a couple of goals the passes will be tape to tape perfect a lot of the time, but there are A LOT of games I've played where the passes are just horrible....absolutely horrible! I get they want to make it realistic but there is no skill to these games anymore. I definitely won't be buying the next one and possibly the next few, not until I play one and it seems like they actually worked on the things that mess up constantly or are a complete annoyance. I was really hoping since they just changed so much in nhl 17 that nhl 18 would have kinks worked out but all they did was add new things and left pretty much everything else the same or made it worse in my opinion. I've never written an online review before but I had to for this game since it frustrates me so much.
