2k6 or was that 2k5?

If you haven't gotten the game or are thinking about it...first thing, from the review of EA NHL 06 it looks like you have only 1 choice in a hockey game this year, the EA game so far is rated really bad! 2k6... I do not like Bob Cole and Harry Neal, but surprisingly they do not bother me in this game...they aren't as annoying as I thought they would be. Graphics are basically the same as 2k5 with minor improvements. Online, you can chat now, and are able to do much more online, but the setup is confusing - will take a while to get used to. Online I played 3 games and lost network connection each time, chatted with others and they were having the same problem. So I never actually got to play an entire game online. The goalie has more animations like they said. The players skating and shooting is more "realistic", but you'll notice the players seem slower or more fluid, however you want to look at it. I don't play mini games or skills, but they are basically the same. Pro control passing is good except that each time you shoot or it is intercepted you have to re-click in right thumbstick = really dumb Goalie controls are better, but not really as useful as I thought. You can make your players crash the net, or defend different, but ONLY once you enter the off/def zone = very dumb Overall I thought compared to 2k5 that 2k6 was OK, many of the new features are not as "useable" as I had hoped, and I always find myself thinking "why should I play this when its just like 2k5?". Between 2k5 and 2k6 for me is a toss up on which game I'd play more. I keep thinking, should I get used to 2k6 or just return it? But its the only hockey game we got this year...boo
