Not to say this is a bad game. On the contrary, I find it as fun as last years. They made some of the animations better, and improved on the on ice sounds. As far as the game in general is concerned, It pretty much winds up on par with last years game which is a tad disappointing. I was hoping for some better graphics, better presentation (Which is hard now that ESPN went to poker) I still take issue with the camera view. I find that when I am skating upwards, I can't really tell what's going on. I wish the camera would move up to show more of a top - down view of the other goal line. I am not as keen on the enforcer role or the icon passing, so, that is not too much of a factor. I really hope 2k sports can improve upon the formula that got them to the top of the heap, but, for now, I think I am going to be playing EA's game a little more as I seem to play NHL 06 with more of a smile on my face, as opposed to NHL 2k6 which leaves me wishing for more.
