NHL 2K6 is a really fun game to play. The gameplay is the best out there right now, however there are some problems with the game. The graphics are decent but could be alot better. The player graphics are OK. Their facial expressions could use some work and their hair looks fake but one thing that I like about the players are their uniforms. The uniforms look great in this game and look realistic. The crowd is a whole other story. Overhead, the crowd looks like paper. They're that thin. And when looking at them from ice level, all the people look like they're made up of blocks. Thankfully, the graphics inside the rink are better. The sound in the game is most of the time good. The sound when you hit another player is cool but the crowd cheering is annoying. They could have done better with the music in the game but other than that the sound was good. The game has a few glitches. For example, one of my opponents players were behind my net and the puck went into the net from the back and they counted it as a goal. This doesn't happen very often though. The gameplay is what makes up for all the bad things in the game. Once I start playing, I can't stop. The gameplay is realistic and just fun to play, either on single player or multiplayer. Overall, considering the games cheap price it is a great buy and a fun game. There are better hockey games though.
