I played hockey all through HS, and I must say that this game is as close as you can get to the real thing. The controls are incredibly easy to get the hang of, and the graphics are sick. The players' movements are very lifelike and realistic, in regards to puck handling and skating. They have a new feature that lets you take control of the goalie mid-shot to defend your goal, which is seamlessly integrated and an integral part of the game. The dynasty mode is of course the most addictive part of the game, and I've been playing ever since I got the game about 2 weeks ago. Seriously, the BEST hockey game I've ever played...I highly recommend it!!!
