the game started out with a funky new interface, and at first,mind blowing control scheme which took many a training sessions to get down.but after that was completed everything fell back into place. most the reviews, and even gamespot noted this, but this game deserves a MUCH better review on the fact you can CHANGE back to the old controls, plus the new controls are overwelming with many different options with the simplist being the puck handling to wrist shots and slap shots, to even kicking the puck from foot to stick. of course, the gameplay remains as strong as ever with the great defense and offensive ai to challenge with. now when you go in on a fastbreak you have the options you NEVER had before in any hockey game ANY. 2k did try something different, and die hard gamers with patience will enjoy this great game of hockey, all others will miss out and shoot one wide.
After playing for about 5 hours I'm still not completely used to the new controls but I can comment on alot of the features of the game. I would like to add that I've played well over 200 games of 2k7, so I am no rookie... Read Full Review
