NHL 2K8, is one of my favorite hockey games. It's fun, but on the down side to easy on rookie and to hard on pro, so I don't know what to play it on, so.... I just play the mini-games, the difficulty on these is just right. And they are really fun too. OK graphics and pretty fun. I've played better and I've played worse. On the worse side NHL 2001 by EA Sports. On the better side NHL 2K9. This game is worth the $4 I paid for it, but I would advise not paying a penny more than that. On the upside the multiplayer is great. The mini-games in multiplayer are really good. The multiplayer hockey games are pretty good too. But if you ave the money buy NHL 2K9 instead. NHL 2K8 is worth the money, but was not worth the wait. A fair game all and all. The announcers are a little slow on the commentation, but thats OK.
Your game play is all mostly the same, you have same movement, shot types, the commentators have about five new lines so it is 2k7. The Star Stick combo thing is great, but after the deke the puck just goes right off the... Read Full Review
