Don't see what the big gripes are about the new control scheme. If you don't like it u can use the old classic controls. It plays much better than 2k7 and I hated EA NHL 07 demo. Very good game and the online play is good but not very many play because of the unnecessary lame reviews this game got. One gripe is that if you have a router in order to host games online it seems you must enable DMZ on your router for the address your PS3 is on. Hopefully they come out soon with a patch to fix this. This game is very fun to play and that is really what matters.
