I see a lot of complaints about the new control in 2k8.

I've been reading the other reviews and see that people are complaining about the all new control interface. It took me 2 quickgames to and training to get used to it. And even my friends picked it up after a little bit. It can be frustrating at first, but stick to it, it's worth it.

As I myself am a hockey player, this game is as closed to real hockey as it gets. (Until they make virtual reality!) The new stick handling mode is amazing, and the faceoffs are actually fun now. You don't just keep pressing the button untill that pesky ref drops the puck. Swipe your stick to early and they will swap you out. I'm also amazed with the new goalie system, who are a lot more intelligent. The CPU players are getting smarter as well, pushing you to the outside and setting up some sweet plays.

If you think this is going to be another easy hockey game, think again. I dare you to win the stanley cup on hall of fame mode. As a matter of fact, i dare all of you big hockey fans to try this game out for yourself.
