NHL Hitz Pro is a basic game of hockey but it's also a very fun and entertaining game of hockey.
NHL Hitz Pro is unfortunatly the final edition of the NHL Hitz series, but Midway has saved their best NHL Hitz game for last in NHL Hitz Pro. Last year's game was pretty basic, just very fun 3 on 3 action and usually the scores rose up to a very unrealistic number. In this year's game they've changed things up. Instead of 3 on 3 the devolopers have made the game for realistic and made it 5 on 5. This makes it a little harder to score but you'll still see that you'll be scoring a ridicoulous amount of goals. The game also has a new fighting system from last year and this fighting system is way better in my opinion. Other than that the gameplay hasn't changed much from last year's game. The graphics and sound unfortunatly haven't been upgraded that much from last year's game, the team goal horns are all in the game which is better than last year but this is basically the only noticable upgrade in the sound. The game has all of last year's modes except for the shootout which is a very noticable absense. You'll probably just be playing quick games though and be having a hell of a time.
NHL Hitz went out with a flare. It's sad to see that the best arcade NHL franchise has to leave but NHL Hitz fans shouldn't be ashamed to play this game even though it's been out a few years. If you're looking for a fun and fast paced game of hockey then look then look no further then NHL Hitz Pro.
