This is a disgrace of a cash-in that hides behind the franchise name and the fact that is a kids game at heart. Missing sound effects, lack of feedback on the controller, short story (only 15 levels, averaging at 5 minutes each), and stupid A.I.
The game is eerily silent. There is almost no sound. The game soundtrack is almost muted in most sections, it is there, you can hear it, but it's so silent most of the time it may as well not exist. Then the sound effects, they are almost non-existent, and those that exist are amazingly low quality. This extends to the voice acting, that you can hear, and although is well voiced by the cast of the show (minus Leonardo, who has a competent separate actor), has such low quality, and every character and enemy has about 5 different quotes before they start saying the same things again and again.
The game lasts about 2 hours, extending to 3 hours for those after the easy 1000G on offer in this game. The length disgraceful, but at the same time, is somewhat relieving at the end, as the game is boring to play. Very little sound, no feedback and no difficulty make this boring to play. just because this is a kids game, it doesn't mean that the developer has no reason to not try.
The visuals are in character with the show. Some of the character models look poorly segmented, and some of the backgrounds are amazingly low res, but overall, the game looks in character and is animated in character of the Nickelodeon series.
Overall, this is a disgrace to the franchise, if you want to a decent TMNT game, play one of the Konami games, because this misses the mark in so many places, and is saved only by the kids game mark and the TMNT name.
