A fighter with little else

I'm the kind of that likes a good dark game, one that will scare me to my wits end and wanting more. What I don't like are fighters, hit this button then another and another still to overcome your enemy! BBOORRIINGG! and tedious, why not wipe out my gun and blow him away, huh?! Well, this game does have creepy locales and monsters that I would load my shorts with if I crossed them, but nothing else. These are the types of games you get when people complain about not liking to look and search for things (which is used minimumilly here) and exploration (see previous comment). So, you end up with a game that is linear and with very little to do hack and slasher, nothing to keep your interest for longer than five minutes. Not that I do not like hack and slashers, but there has to be something more to a game than walk here, kill monster, and repeat. Something to the likes of story, engaging NPC's, compelling motivation, and a main character that, well, has character. There is very little to this game as there is little to do and nowhere to go, as most of this game just ground level point a to point b travel. While fans of fighters may get something out of the fighting by button method, there is little to recommend except if you need to a game to kill a few hours.
