When it was first announced that Team Ninja would be working on the classic franchise Ninja Gaiden, and that it would be coming to the Xbox, many people cheered...and those people who waited paitently and painfully for the game to finally release were rewarded for their wait. Ninja Gaiden is simply a masterpiece that demands your attention.

THE GOOD:
-The weapons are fantastic and all are unique
-The acquisition of the better weapons takes time and patience...and it's just plain good fun to crush the enemy.
-The combo moves are a sight to behold. You'll do them over and over again because their just that darn good.
-The graphics are a step above. You'll find no better graphics on any console game anywhere. It has equals...but none that are superior.
-The storyline is good enough to keep things moving along
-The bosses are unique and challenging, if not downright difficult
-Going for those high grades for level completion will keep you coming back
-The hurricane packs keep you fighting for your life
-The Live scoring will push you to be the best

THE BAD:
-Difficulty of some bosses seem to challenging, while later bosses seem to easy (last boss particularly)
-It's easy to loose track of where you should be going from time to time.

I could go on, but there's no reason to. You see the GS score. You see the average reviewer score. This is a must-have classic for any one with an Xbox. If you have a 360, you need it too. If you have only a PS2 or GC...well...get an Xbox. It's superior to any game like it in the genre.
