Ninja Gaiden (2004)

If you ever saw a ninja do something and said "Hey, that was cool," you can do it in Ninja Gaiden Black.

Fans of the Dead or Alive series will instantly recognize the face of Ryu Hayabusa on the cover of Ninja Gaiden Black and will at least be drawn to pick it up used, but for others Ninja Gaiden Black may seem somewhat . . . cliched. Yes, you're a ninja who dresses like other ninjas, uses the weapons other ninjas use, and who's village has recently been razed by an evil empire.

The difference is in the sheer level of unadulterated badass involved. Ryu is not only a master of the ninja art of sword-kickass, but also of nunchuck-kickass, bustersword-kickass, and all sorts of other kickassery.

Also, this game features the coolest weapon ever: the Vigoorian Flail. Bladed Nunchucks. Bruce Lee would have a field day, rest his soul. In short, pick it up, if you get ur ass beaten at least there's Ninja Dog mode.
