Ninja Gaiden (black) is a mixture of astonishment. It's beautifully designed, it offers the best combat engine so far in video game history, and it's a fun game with an intriguing story from start to finish. This game can be very hard in later difficulties. It offers a vast amount of replay value and the online portion is wonderfully put together.
The control scheme is some what complex, but nothing daunting. The combat is what really makes this game, you can not mash buttons and assume to get anywhere, timing and a knowledge of how an enemy works are the major keys to mastering this game.
