Ninja Gaiden is a tough game, its true, but its also quite addicting. I initially kept dying on the first level, until I figured out the controls, particularly how to block. I spend an amazing amount of time blocking in this game, mainly because the enemies are so fast and ferocious. But what this means is that every time you progress from one level to the next you feel like you've really earned it. Its similar to the pride that comes through winning a good online match in another action game, because it seems like all those enemy guards you just crushed might as well have been controlled by a skilled gamer. And when you're playing with such rock solid controls, what excuse do you have for losing? This makes me quite eager for the online Ninja Gaiden competitions that are going to occur on Xbox Live.
