Good action but horrible story and scenario
The enemies are random as well, including ninjas, samurais, soldiers, demons, dinosaurs, ghost and even the undead. The only thing that seems to be missing are pirates. While the combat is supposed to be hard and/or challenging, I cant help but feel that it is overly cheap. Most of the enemies are armed with guns/bows and/or rocket launchers while you have to get near them and finish them off with melee weapons, all while being engaged with 5 more of brutally hard close ranged enemies.
There is no lock-on, so the camera will not show you who you are fighting against, and many times grenades and arrows will just fly in and knock you down. Its really hard to immerse yourself in this game, and the story doesn't justify the means why you should keep pushing on (unless you like getting your bones crushed). Another thing that annoyed me is that the button used for attacking is also used for opening doors, so I accidentally walked out of the room while I was fighting, and re-entering the room makes everyone respawn.
Good combat and everything else weak is only half of a game made, and a half rating it will get 5/10. If you don't mind the weak scenario with many random elements, and room by room swarming with brutal enemies (even on easy difficulty), give this game a try, otherwise avoid it like the plague.
