Detailed graphics. Bad camera. It’s too hard and frustrating, and at times unfair.
The camera will contribute to the mistakes in commands the player gives to Ryu. The player will most likely be inputting the right commands, but due to the wild camera Ryu will do a completely different action then what was intended.
Rolls, jumps, evasion and general movement can go horribly wrong thanks to the camera. Some will likely say that the camera adds to the difficulty. That possibly is true. But some will find it annoying.
Ryu is a tiny bit on the slow side. When the player needs to block, the player needs to block. But Ryu gets to carried away. Once the play has inputted the command, Ryu won't stop until it's done. So people who are playing this really have to watch what their doing. Timing is everything in this game. But he's still a tad bit slow.
Ninpo which is Ryu's special attack can take awhile to for him to do. And there are enemies in this game that disappear. When Ryu's in the middle of charging his Ninpo attack they sometimes disappear and the Ninpo was a waste. It would of been alright if Ryu had infinite Ninpo power.
The story is nothing new although it may appeal to those Kong Fu fan bunch. Ryu's a guy who takes up revenge after his village was attack by some greedy satanic guys looking for the legendary Dark Dragon Sword, that feeds of peoples hatred or something on those lines. It gets cheesy in just a few scenes, but over-all the story is OK.
Over-all, the player has to really exert themselves if they want to achieve in this game. So casual beware. It looks fantastic, they sell it well. But in reality, it's one of those picky games that are made for a more so particular audience. Not everyone is going to enjoy this one.
