Ninja Gaiden Black was an great game. And if you can make it past hard as hell bosses, you have yourself a great game.
It's a great game with plenty of battles to keep it interesting, but I sometimes got bored of the dull quests and dull landscapes.
Dull quests? Finding five statues in a city and finding fragments of a tablet to open a portal to your village...wha???
Dull landscapes? Light gray building...leading to a darker gray building...
leading to a gray alleyway...leading to the gray building that connects to the bridge that connects to the gate out of here...hmm...
Other than that...the action is great and the graphics give you another reason to stare at Rachel's...''assets''. They are very pretty...the graphics I mean, you perverts!
Oh, one more thing, the music in this game sounds like crap.
In closing, this game is great. Not the best, but great...
NGB earns a 8.8 because of it's action and it's graphics,
even though the game has a couple tedious elements.
If you love action adventure games, this is a sure buy.
