Definitely a Japanese ninja styled gem for the Xbox to enjoy, especially since there arent many.Very challenging but fun
The game starts with the storyline telling you about whats going on...now usually I would tell you what happens the first time but since Ive been spending time on other games, its hard to remember everything for one game. But you start off learning some of the game's features and you get throw some notes of how to do things such as run on walls, climb to reach the top, etc...then eventually you will start fighting some ninjas...after you do all the fighting and some searching...then you begin to fight the first boss, which is really just training but its a VERY tough boss at first...you will have difficulties but as long as you roll, jump, dodge, and block a lot, you will be able to defeat him..then you two begin to talk, then a girl comes along and you see a place has been under attack.
The game is really fun once you got everything down...hack and slash enemies, use some of the environments for yourself, and such other stuff...It also goes away from just a normal hack and slash and gives you very challenging bosses...this may cause frustration factors and such but when you come up with a strategy and works, then you will be all good and eventually you will celebrate your victory.
Graphics look pretty nice, although this is not Xbox 360 quality and the PS3 remake would look 20x nicer...still this is just an Xbox game and it only cost me a little bit of money so Im not complaining...plus the first Xbox had the best graphics for the last generation so its all good with me.
Sound is pretty nice, you get to hear a lot of sword swinging, clashes, and a little bit of gun usage and also the music fits in really well with the gameplay...voice acting could of been better though to be honest.
Overall this is a great game that most of you would love, especially to fans of Japanese styled games, however if you dont want to go through such high frustration levels of hard bosses and such, you might as well at least rent this game first.
