I absolutely love this game. When it first came out, I thought, oh well, its just another hack'n'slash. Well, its more than that. I thought nothing would ever beat DMC, but Ninja Gaiden completely destroyed it. Its by far more fun, better graphics, and better story. Not only does it have an interesting main story, but it has a few side stories that keep the player interested in how its going to turn out. The only thing that might turn someone off about this game is the difficulty. Its not a game for the casual gamer. Even though you may get completely owned in a fight, you'll come out thinking, wow, that was great, because of how smart and quick the AI is. They wont just stand there and wait for you to attack, they will try to cut your head off every second of the fight. Thats what I love about the game. The constant action is so amazing and its never interrupted by puzzles. The puzzles are very simple, but to me thats a good thing cause they dont make a pause in the action. All in all, I think Ninja Gaiden is the best hack'n'slash out to date, and will be for a long time. Also, with the added downloadable content, it's worth every single cent of its price.
