NG3 is a great action game and a good addition to the ninja gaiden series. The combat is great and satisfying, the ai behaves like it did in the other two games, the ninja trials are great, the story is not bad and ryu is as awesome as ever. Because the game is so solid I am not bothered much by taking out the shops but the lack of weapon variety is a bit disappointing although more weapons are on their way through free dlc soon. Multiplayer is fun. If you like action games you should absolutely get this game the reshuffled team ninja has shown big big potential and I think NG4 will be amazing if they decide to make it. As far as the game being easier, this is only true in that it offers a medium and easy mode but the hard more is very hard, I died a ton of times and I've beaten NG1 alot of times as well as 2 and sigma.
