MNM is challenging, but mostly due to bugs; online is fun

Normal mode is very easy, hard mode is a BIG jump up in difficulty, and MNM is very hard. Unfortunately, MNM is difficult because of the insane lag and frame-rate problems that occur randomly in parts with a ton of enemies. Many players have commented that Day 1 is the most difficult for this very reason.

The online is pretty fun, although it's unfortunate that your move set is linked to your weapon. That is, you will need to get level 10 on your sword, claws, and scythe to be able to execute all the moves Ryu can. Be warned though, you have to BUY the latter two weapons to use them in online mode. They are only free for story mode.

As far as the rest of the DLC, it includes additional missions (playable solo or online co-op) and new outfits for your online ninja. There are two packages so far which can be purchased piece-meal or all together for $9.99 USD.

It's certainly not the Ninja Gaiden we knew and loved from NGS1/2, but it's still an entertaining enough game.
