An under-rated classic, a little short.

Story: Well you dont get much story, and since i cant read japanese, there may be more im not seeing. And when i beat the game, every time, the final screen with the text disappears to quickly, maybe its because i click a button but still, i wont take many points off. The basic plot i understand is somebody killed your father and your trying to get revenge. Nothing special.

GamePlay: The gameplay is amazing. You can jump extremely high, you also have a great arsenal of weapons. From swords, throwing stars, throwing bombs, and a grappling hook thing. The enemies are overall fun to kill and there arent to many or to little of them. The levels are fun to play through, especially the level when you hop up the mountain. The bosses are challenging, not cheap, and are also fun. But the game only consists of a few levels, but replaying it is pretty fun.

Graphics: Again, not many complaints. The graphics are great for its system/time. The level designs are also good. The textures and actual background are also good, but i feel most of the enemies are pretty much the same.

SoundTrack: The sound track is really nothing special. I mean its good, but still. Most of the sound effects are good, but the rest feels a little bland.

Nitpicks and stuff: One thing i found was strange, is that when you lose all of your lives and have to use a continue, you usually go back to the beginning of the stage. But here, you start at your last checkpoint. I always found that kind of awkward, seeing as how if you died you would want to go back and get power ups.

Overall: The game is really good, completely worth the 6$. I recommend this game to any action game fan or anyone who likes ninja games.
