fairly fun, amazing graphics, but gets boring pretty fast. not for hardcore gamers, but perfect for non-gamers.

Nintendogs is a very good series for non-gamers but normal gamers shouldn't get to much play time out of it. While it is a very realistic simulation (the dogs actually lick themselves like they do in real life), displays the top of the DSs graphics, and works hard to keep you interested, they just don't do a good enough job at it. But for non gamers it is probably the best game on any system, the dogs are awesome, to say the least. It perfectly renders a dogs display of utter joy at seemingly normal everyday activities like getting a treat, going for a walk, getting a treat, meeting someone new, getting a treat, or a nice petting by their masters. Having two dogs of my own I can say that many of their species like getting a treat a little too much, and that wasn't there; but then again, its annoying.... and they dont grow any; but that may be good for all the puppy lovers out there. Over all I have to say that I as a pretty hardcore gamer can't say I like it that much but my mom is amazed by it, so non-gamers should really give it a try.
