I good second title. It improves on some aspects of the first game, but there are some problems.

User Rating: 8 | No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle WII
First the good, It's still bloody, still make almost no sense, most of the controls have been sharpened, most of the job missions are 8-bit which I love, and there are more fights, and Jeane(your cat) has a point.

Now the bad, controls have been improved but not enough for the platforming part of Shinobu's missions. You only get to drive your bike twice. Also not as many of the boos fights are memorable. All the boss fights are still good and have varying degrees of difficulty, but they just are not as cool as the bosses from the first game.

Some other Problems I have with that game.

1. You can only buy 2 beam Katanas for a total of 4.
2. I was not a big fan of the new ways to gain strength and stamina, though this might just be because I wasn't very good at them.
3. I wish there was more stuff to do in your apartment, like more games on the TV
4. you don't get dual katanas until near the end of that game.
5. I was disappointed in the last boss fight. in the first game you could dodge her moves and hit her if you were good enough, in this one you have almost no chance.
6. There was no super part to buy or bonus ending at the end.
7. this might just be me and I did not rate that game because of this but, whenever I would do a power slash(shake the WiiMote), or when a lot of stuff was happening like I was being shot at by 2 people, the screen would go black for a sec. It really only got me hurt when I was being shot at, but it was annoying. I believe this was because I was playing on a wide screen TV on wide screen setting with the standard cables, if anyone else has this problem, let me know I am curious.

Overall the game improves in some areas while becoming weaker in others. And if you own a Wii and have never played No More Heroes and want to know if you should, the answer is yes. The original No More Heroes is still my favorite M Rated Wii game.
