This game probably improved the series in every possible way. This includes and improves the fun but simplistic game play of the original and gets rid of all the little hang ups. It includes 8 bit mini games for jobs in place of the not so well controlled games, and those are optional on top of that. This improves the game a great deal because in the original you have to go around an area that looks like something that wouldn't be impressive on the Dream Cast in terms of graphics. The 8 bit mini games fit the original style very well and everything else seems to have significantly better graphics. The combat improves because 2 sabers are better than one and there are new special abilities as well. The only real issue I have with this game is that the fighting isn't terribly deep and it suffers from the typical hack and slash issue of just being too short. I would be perfectly happy to have more of the same, this really gets the formula right. It would just be nicer to have more levels and more moves. It also includes more playable heroes and they are all fun.
