Noitu Love 2 is obviously the sequel to Noitu Love, made also by the same author and distributed as freeware, which was also a small gem worth downloading. Both of them can be described as arcade action/platform games. The 2nd part, features improved graphics, very good music and controls. Let me explain a bit more about the controls part. Now, the player has the option to use both mouse and keyboard if he wishes, guiding a crosshair and the character at the same time. Various actions such as attacks, dashes and jumps can be performed towards the active crosshair. On the other hand, the player can use the keyboard only, if he finds that way of control more to his liking. The levels in Noitu Love 2 are very well designed, with tons of surprises awaiting the player. Variety is one of the strongest points of the game. You will never guess what awaits behind the next corner. Enemies also vary in shape, mass and abilities. Sometimes you will find the need to develop a certain fighting tactic to beat a certain enemy. The game also features unlockables that become available after beating it, which launches its value and playability to the stars. To sum up, Noitu Love 2 is a true gem from an independent developer that should be in everyone's game collection. Highly recommended.
