I am giving this game a 10. I have been nothing buy impressed and surprised by this developer. I hardly ever play indie games, in fact I probably avoid them more than I should unless they are well known with good graphics. Personally I can't stand 16 to 32 bit games these days. Anyway, this game is so simple yet complex at the same time. The download is only a few hundred megabytes, but the detail of this game is staggering actually and will give you a great challenge.
Usually the first hour or 2 your focused on food, wood, stone, and the happiness of your people. Its not as crazy and complex as lets say Civilization is, but probably closer to Banished style of game play. Which I love as its easy to have some any of your production turn negative which can quickly destroy your village before it even starts. Then you turn your villagers into soldiers and fight block by block to take out the enemy villages. The combat is small in scale where every soldier counts, which I also love as I have gotten sick of everything need to be "massive scale battles".
The developers are also extremely great, since I got this game about 6 months ago they have had 3 major updates and added two new clans for a total of 5 different types.
Anyway I am getting carried away, personally I love this simple yet complex game and I am genuinely excited to see where the developers take it too next.
