Ok indie sci-fi horror

Technically the game doesn't do much wrong - the graphics are effective and the impressive soundscape does everything it's meant to to provide plenty of atmosphere/horror. That said, Rutger Hauer's voice work as the player character is imo terrible; emotionless and lacking any agency making it very hard to feel anything for him.

The core story line is fine, albeit a little cliche (a "cop" in a dystopian cyberpunk world trying to figure out what happened to his son). Still there isn't really a lot of "fun" to be had (a bit of detective work and some stealth elements) and the storyline was weirdly not all that compelling - I constantly put myself off continuing to play it (exactly not what a game should be striving for).

Overall it's still worth a look for fans of games like SOMA (which I very much liked and highly recommend), but the whole thing felt a little "off" to me.
