Best RPG in a LONG time..... Better than Dawn of Mana hands down!!
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay in Odin Sphere is awesome. If you have ever played Valkyrie Profile... it's kinda like that. It is a side scroller with a whole bunch of enemies to defeat. As you progress through the stroy you get things called PHOZONS... which basically experiance points for your attack power. I know that sounds weird but in this game you only level up HP and Psyphers (attack). The game has lots of enemies... big areas.... and just plain fun. Something that hasn't been in an RPG in a while! 10/10
GRAPHICS: Odin Sphere's graphics are simply AMAZING! Everything is hand drawn. Which means hardly any CG. The characters are greatly drawn, as well as NPC's and bosses. The game brings some of the old type of bright colours, which really hasn't been seen since Legend of Mana for the PS1. Much better graphics than anything that is coming out right now! 10/10
SOUND: The music in this game is very suttle. You actually hardly hear it. This is because you are way to focused on killing all of your enemies to defeat. But if you actually stopped and listened it actually is a great selection of music. 10/10
If you are going to go buy a new game and you're into RPG's... I would definately go for ODIN SPHERE. Dawn of Mana is $59.99, when it is probably the most disappointing RPG so far. Odin Sphere is 10 dollars cheaper and a much better game. So go for Odin Sphere in a heart beat!
