With beautiful wood-cut graphics and incredible story Okami is a hidden gem that should not be missed
The games main catch is the Celestial Brush, A godly item which allows for you to turn the world around you into a canvas. You can then draw on the canvas to make something happen in real life. So for example, a women needs her clothes to dry but there's no sun out to dry them. You use the brush to draw a sun which then drys the clothes to get the old lady happy.
That is another big part of the game. Experience is gained by making people happy, making trees grow and defeating bosses, not by fighting normal enemies which is a nice change from normal action adventures because it dosen't require you to train. This does, however, take away from the difficulty but that really isn't what Okami is about.
For being so beautiful in multiple ways Okami is a great game to play before waving good-bye to your good old PS2.
